Measure Your Trunk for an Organizer That Fits

Plan the footprint around the cargo area you actually use.

Check the usable floor

Measure width and depth around wheel wells, trim and other fixed parts. Note the space needed to close the hatch or trunk lid. Remember the access route for loading and removing the organizer.

Keep vehicle access in mind

Check access to storage beneath the floor, spare-tire equipment and vehicle attachment points. An organizer should not make a routine vehicle function inaccessible. Follow the vehicle’s guidance for loading its cargo area.

Compare the compartments

Look at divider positions, pocket sizes and whether the design folds partly or completely. Compare the exact selected model’s open and folded dimensions. A product photograph filled with props does not establish the included accessories.

Plan cargo restraint separately

An organizer is a storage item, not a crash-safety device. Use suitable vehicle cargo restraints where required and follow the vehicle and restraint instructions. Confirm any organizer attachment method for the actual car before use.

For product-specific dimensions, materials and instructions, use the exact listing and the manufacturer’s documentation. Contact TrunkTidy with a question.
